How to aadhar card download ?

Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identity number that can be obtained voluntarily by the citizens of India and resident foreign nationals who have spent over 182 days in twelve months immediately preceding the date of application for enrolment, based on their biometric and demographic data.

Step 1: Go to www.google.com

 
Step 2: Search for "How to aadhar card download".
 

 
Step 3: Search for "How to aadhar card download".

 

 
Please observe the URL: https://uidai.gov.in/my-aadhaar/get-aadhaar.html and only click on this website.

You will get the page like below:



Just scroll down. "Download Aadhaar" option will be available as seen in the image. Click on that.
 
Step 4: You will get a page with "login" option as below image.
 

 
Click on login button.  Login page will display asking for Aadhaar number and Captcha. 

Enter your aadhaar number and Captcha as displayed in the image.


 
Click on "Send OTP". You receive the OTP to registered mobile number.
Option for entering the OTP will display.



Enter the received OTP.
 

 
Step 5: A new Aadhaar download page will display as below:
 

 
Click on "Download Aadhaar" option. Aadhaar download will be in progress as below:
 
 
 
Before download, Aadhaar data review page will display. Please confirm all data is proper or not. Name, Date of birth, Address.



 Confirm all data is proper and click on "Download" button.



 
 After that Aadhaar will be download successfully with message "Congratulations!"
 

 
You can check in downloads in browser in mobile or desktop.
 

 
 
Please note the password information.  The Aadhaar password will be in 8 characters.
 
Combination of the first four letter of your name (as in Aadhaar) in CAPITAL letters and Year of Birth in YYYY format.
 
Example: Your name is RAMANA S KUMAR
                Your Year of Birth is 1995
 
Then your e-Aadhar password is RAMA1995.
 
When you try to open the downloaded Aadhaar pdf file you need to enter this password.
